Drought watch - Due to the dry weather and low levels in the City of Haverhill’s public water supply reservoirs the Water Division has declared a drought watch. We ask that all residents and businesses enact voluntary water conservation measures to help stabilize our water supply levels. For more information click here.
PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 8 2016 Polls open from 7AM to 8PM.
Pollings locations at Hunking Middle School have moved due to ongoing construction. Ward 2, Prec 2, will vote at Northpoint Bible College and Ward 7, Prec 2, will vote at Bradford Elementary School. This change will remain in place for the November election.
EARLY VOTING STARTS THIS YEAR FOR FIRST TIME - FROM OCT 24 - NOV 4. You can vote at City Hall during regular business hours (8AM-4PM) in the basement, during this time. We will also have early voting in City Hall on Thursday, November 3, until 8PM and on Saturday, October 25 at City Hall, the High Street Fire Station, the Bradford Fire Station and behind DPW offices on Primrose St. from 9-3PM. (This is a new law that provides early voting for the state biennial elections only.)
Voter registration deadline for November election is Wed, Oct 19th at 8PM. City Clerk's office will be open until 8PM that night for voter registration only. If you need to register to vote, make any changes, please do this before the deadline. You can check your voter status, register to vote, make changes, etc. at sec.state.ma.us as well as at the Clerk's office.
